Fearless Hearts, Boundless Journeys | Huaxia Jianlong's 2026 College Graduate Pre-Job Training and Youth Training Arena Challenge Successfully Conclude

From July 10 to 14, the Human Resources and Administration Department of Huaxia Jianlong organized a five-day special training program for the 2026 intake of newly recruited college graduates, while simultaneously hosting the annual Youth Training Arena Challenge. This year, nearly 60 university graduates (comprising 1 PhD, 20 Master's, and 35 Bachelor's degree holders) joined the headquarters and various subsidiaries of Huaxia Jianlong. The trainees came from more than ten higher education institutions, including Central South University, Northeastern University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Fuzhou University, Wuhan University of Technology, Qinghai University, Guizhou University, Yanshan University, and Kunming University of Science and Technology. Their majors cover core business fields such as mineral processing, mining engineering, resource exploration, surveying and mapping, mechanical automation, safety engineering, inorganic non-metallic materials, and engineering cost.

On July 11, Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, attended the 2026 College Graduate Youth Training Arena Challenge and delivered a keynote speech titled "Ignite Your Life with Passion," welcoming over 60 young talents with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees to the company, injecting fresh vitality into corporate development. Aligning with the company's strategic goals and mining industry trends, Mr. Yuan put forward six key expectations: first, mutual trust and shared mission, where the enterprise supports the growth of young talents and they, in turn, propel the company forward; second, respect for career choices, deeply cultivating the mining sector with reverence and staying true to the corporate development vision; third, maintaining dreams and perseverance, immersing themselves in long-term sectors such as resource development and new energy; fourth, keeping up with the green and intelligent mining revolution, proactively innovating to make breakthroughs and striving to be industry trendsetters; fifth, balancing passion for struggle with a composed mindset, strictly abiding by the professional bottom line of complying with rules, staying true to one's heart, and maintaining integrity; sixth, establishing an outlook on happiness centered on practical endeavor, rejecting impetuousness and passive inaction, and realizing self-worth through overcoming challenges. The speech highlighted ten golden quotes for mutual encouragement with the youth. Mr. Yuan urged all new employees to take root in the enterprise, cultivate their skills diligently, pursue their dreams, and dare to pioneer, striving to grow into industry scientists, breakthrough engineers, and innovative entrepreneurs, thereby progressing in tandem with the company and letting their youth shine.

On July 14, Li Jinqian, General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, attended the graduation ceremony of the college graduate pre-job training program and delivered a speech titled "New Stage, New Dreams, New Brilliance." He congratulated all youth training participants on successfully completing their training, encouraging them to quickly transition their identities from campus to the workplace, and put forward six requirements for their growth: First, practice the "Four Diligences, Five Spirits, and Six Attainments" self-cultivation code to temper their comprehensive qualities; second, recognize the long-term prospects of the mining industry and chase their dreams by leveraging the company's talent mechanisms and development platforms; third, embrace long-termism, deeply cultivate their professional fields, and forge core competitiveness; fourth, maintain a balanced perspective on gains and losses, take the initiative to shoulder responsibilities, and accumulate experience through their work; fifth, confront setbacks calmly, broadening their horizons and strengthening their sense of responsibility in times of adversity; sixth, persist in daily exercise to support their career development with a strong physique. Mr. Li urged the new employees to take root on the front line, uphold integrity, scale new heights, and grow into core technical and managerial personnel, thereby keeping pace with the company's high-quality development and achieving a fulfilling life.

This training program featured a total of 11 customized courses, with 10 outstanding instructors specially invited from both inside and outside the company across various professional fields to deliver the lectures. The curriculum covered corporate culture, mineral processing techniques, mining technology, smart mine construction, the seven tools of lean management, safety and green mine control, college graduate development planning, corporate rules and regulations, official document writing, practical office operations, and business etiquette. Integrating real-world mining production cases, the instructors employed diverse teaching methods—such as on-site video case sharing, group discussions, and live Q&A sessions—to deliver lessons from multiple dimensions and fresh perspectives, fully igniting the new employees' passion to take root in the enterprise and cultivate their expertise.

This youth training class implemented a points-based mechanism: all trainees were divided into 10 groups, engaging in a dual-track competition for both team and individual points, which was supported by a redemption system allowing trainees to exchange their accumulated points for study materials. Throughout the training, all participants were fully committed, listening attentively and interacting proactively to secure points for their teams and themselves. At the conclusion of the training, following a comprehensive evaluation of daily points and classroom performance, the final rankings were announced:

On July 11, the Huaxia Jianlong Youth Training Arena Challenge was held at the Beijing Beitou Taihu Performing Arts Hotel. More than 70 participants attended the event, including Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong; Jin Wei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong; Zhou Zhenhua, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Baotong Mining; Ma Yushun, General Manager of Jinshi Mining; professional and technical leaders of the company; as well as trainees from the 2026 youth training class.

At the Youth Training Arena Challenge, Jin Wei, Executive Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered an opening address. She extended a warm welcome to the 2026 new colleagues who have officially joined Huaxia Jianlong, and offered gratitude and high expectations to the senior peers preparing for the technical competition. She noted that while rising stars and senior employees may have different levels of on-the-job experience, they are headed toward the same ideal destination. In the workplace, standardized campus answers will turn into open-ended challenges; the company will never dismiss young people who dare to try and make mistakes, as only those who lack the courage to explore forward will leave with the regret of having missed opportunities for growth. Ms. Jin emphasized that the challenge conveys a clear message: dedicated research is the ultimate hard currency. Rather than winning or losing, she values the confidence of young talents who dare to present their thoughts and share their experiences, encouraging them to take the first step and do what is hard but right. She also remarked that intelligence is the product of long-term good habits, where 99% of steady accumulation will eventually culminate in a breakthrough of qualitative change, calling on all young people to inspire one another and move forward side by side.

A total of eight contestants participated in this technical project key-problem-solving competition, all of whom are young key contributors with over a year of service in various subsidiaries and departments. The competition collected nearly 20 technical research topics centered on the company's core mining and mineral processing businesses. Following multiple rounds of review and screening by the project mentor team, eight high-quality topics were ultimately selected for on-site presentation.

During the competition, the contestants, drawing upon their respective professional domains, integrated theories with management tools to deliver rigorous and detailed explanations of their research proposals. The judges evaluated each contestant, scoring and providing on-site feedback based on the project's implementation feasibility, reporting logic, and presentation performance, leading to the announcement of the final results!
