Review, Commendation & Benchmark Learning to Improve Long-term Safety Mechanisms
On July 15, Huaxia Jianlong held the Summary, Commendation and Benchmarking Improvement Conference for the 2026 100-Day Safety Campaign at Chengde Baotong Mining. Each subsidiary reported its safety management achievements and shared distinctive experience, and outstanding role models were commended. Three categories of awards were set up: Outstanding Individuals, Special Excellent Projects and Overall Ranking Awards. Nine frontline safety managers were named Outstanding Individuals, while Baotong Mining, Jindi Mining and Botong Mining took the top three spots in the overall ranking.



Zhou Zhenhua, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Baotong Mining, arranged key follow-up safety work and put forward requirements in four aspects: fully implementing safety responsibilities, upgrading intelligent safety prevention and control, deepening the standardized construction of work sites, and strengthening the management of safety teams. After the conference, all participants visited Baotong Mining and Lingxing Mining for on-site benchmarking to observe and learn experience in standardized and intelligent safety management.
Company-wide Mobilization & Diversified Publicity Reaching Frontline Staff Directly

The company held the Work Safety Month Kick-off Meeting on May 29 to arrange all activities. All subsidiaries simultaneously launched opening ceremonies from May 30 to 31, triggering an upsurge in safety learning from top to bottom.on June 16, the national Safety Promotion and Consultation Day, the company organized 12 special publicity sessions. Consultation booths were set up in all factory areas, distributing safety operation manuals and pocket emergency guides. Post safety knowledge was popularized through on-site Q&A sessions and prize-winning interactive activities.all subsidiaries innovated family-integrated publicity and education models. Chengde County Jianlong and Baotong Mining hosted Family Open Days, inviting employees’ families into workshops and underground mines to learn key points of mine risk control, thus building a dual safety defense line linking the enterprise and employees’ families. Baotong Mining also held safety-themed speech contests, where frontline workers shared personal experiences to convey the idea that safety safeguards families.
The company launched a collection campaign for original safety short videos. Technical backbones from each team produced 36 popular science videos focusing on hidden danger identification, standardized operation and violation warnings, which were played on internal circulation to guide employees to take the initiative to learn and master safety knowledge.
Full-coverage Tiered Training to Systematically Improve All Staff’s Safety Literacy

The company built a three-dimensional training system combining online learning and offline practical operation. A total of 38 safety training sessions were held throughout the month with 12,463 person-times of participants, covering all positions including management, production and logistics. each subsidiary customized training content based on its own risk characteristics. Jurhe Copper Industry ran 9 safety upgrading training sessions attended by over 240 people. Kuancheng Jianlong organized special warning education on underground evacuation and flood season risk avoidance, attracting 776 participants. Other subsidiaries released standardized courses via online platforms, regularly held pre-shift classes and practical training for special operations, focusing on rectifying the "three violations" and unifying operation standards.
Luanping Jianlong organized professional training for safety management personnel, assessing their expertise through theoretical tests and hidden danger picture identification to upgrade the professional competence of the management team. Chengde County Jianlong co-hosted a safety knowledge contest with the local Emergency Management Bureau, consolidating mastery of safety regulations and practical skills through quizzes and case analysis.
Practical Drills for Emergency Preparedness to Forge Solid Emergency Response Capabilities.

Targeting differentiated safety risks at operating mines and ongoing construction projects, categorized practical emergency drills were carried out. Throughout the month, 13 special drills were organized with over 570 participants engaging in hands-on operations.
Jurhe Copper Industry conducted drills on tailings pond overtopping and underground toxic gas asphyxiation accidents. Kuancheng Jianlong simulated a complete underground flood drill covering hazard reporting, personnel evacuation, emergency blocking and medical rescue procedures. Dulan Xigang Mining carried out a comprehensive infrastructure drill targeting foundation pit collapse and electric shock during construction. Every drill was followed by timely reviews to sort out deficiencies, optimize rescue procedures and boost teams’ coordinated response capacity.
Fully Implement All-staff Safety Responsibilities and Form a Closed-loop Mechanism to Eliminate Hidden Dangers

Strictly adhering to the requirement of "three jurisdictions and three obligations", the company held 12 special sharing sessions themed "Talking About Duty Performance", covering all business segments including production equipment, engineering and logistics. All departments sorted out weak links in risk control against duty performance checklists and accident cases, eliminating the one-sided perception that "safety is solely the responsibility of the safety department", and establishing an all-staff, all-business, full-chain safety responsibility system.
A closed-loop hidden danger investigation mechanism featuring leadership-led inspections, file tracking and clearance upon rectification was implemented. General Managers of all subsidiaries led grid-style inspections deep into underground workshops and construction sites to ensure immediate rectification and dynamic risk control.
Management staff of Kuancheng Jianlong inspected more than 80 hidden dangers in high-risk areas including underground support, ventilation and drainage, and temporary electricity utilization. Rectification deployment meetings were held to clarify rectification targets, responsible persons and deadlines, with item-by-item review and clearance to resolve safety risks at the source.
