Successful Conclusion of the Huaxia Jianlong's 2024 Fresh Graduates Onboarding Training and Youth Competition


College Students’ Onboarding Training

 On July 10th, Huaxia Jianlong's onboarding training for 2024 fresh graduates concluded successfully. Yuan Zhanyong, the Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, attended the graduation ceremony and delivered a speech. Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Yuan focused on four aspects: safety, change, goals, and perseverance. First, he emphasized the importance of solid pre-job safety training, as it is the premise of all work. Second, he advised the students to adapt to changes with the courage of a newbie, to embrace rather than complain about the environment, utilizing their knowledge and new ideas to adapt to and eventually change the environment. Third, he encouraged them to set high goals, with "A Letter to Myself in Five Years" as the original intention of joining the company, urging the students to dare to dream and solve significant problems to reflect their value. Fourth, he highlighted the importance of perseverance, advising the students to view success and failure with a long-term perspective, as the challenges and difficulties faced at work would become valuable lifelong assets. Mr. Yuan called on everyone to be long-term thinkers, continuously learning and growing in alignment with the company’s long-term development goals, daring to innovate and transform to elevate the platform and achieve a fulfilling life!
 Huaxia Jianlong's General Manager, Li Jinqian, attended both the youth competition and the opening ceremony. In his speech, he shared insights in three aspects: first, the industry you have chosen is honorable, aligning with national calls and ensuring resource security; second, the company you are joining respects talent and values innovation, and is flourishing; third, the new role you are stepping into marks the beginning of a hopeful journey filled with endless possibilities. Mr. Li gifted the new employees twelve words: "One heart, two practices, three reliances, four diligences, five spirits, six achievements," encouraging them to proceed with confidence and passion, continuously pursuing higher goals and further dreams. Finally, Mr. Li expressed his hope that each new employee would fully utilize their capabilities and rapidly develop into future stars, management experts, and technical authorities, delivering satisfactory results to their families, the company, and themselves!

From July 7th to 10th, Huaxia Jianlong's HR Department organized a four-day training for the 2024 fresh graduate employees to facilitate their transition from "campus" to "workplace". This year, 42 fresh graduates joined the company from over ten universities, including Central South University and Capital University of Economics and Business, Fuzhou University, Guizhou University, Xinjiang University, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, North China University of Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology Liaoning, Yanshan University, Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, and Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. Their majors primarily include mineral processing, mining engineering, resource exploration, surveying, mechanical and automation engineering, safety, and inorganic non-metallic materials.

Lecuturing Site


The training included 13 courses taught by 12 excellent internal and external lecturers. The contents are in relation to multiple specialized courses, including Jianlong's enterprise culture, beneficiation technology explanation, mining technology explanation, seven techniques of lean management, safety and green mine management, college graduate training program, company system propaganda, document writing, office software, character interpretation and business etiquette. Combined with the company's actual situation, the lecturers delivered the courses from a multi-dimensional and new perspective via case demonstration, video sharing, team discussions, questions and interactions, which stimulated the new employees' enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the company’s development.

To ensure effective training, the youth training program adopts a points-based evaluation system, dividing all trainees into eight groups. Both team and individual scores are evaluated in parallel, with opportunities for points exchange at the training program's general store. Throughout the session, all trainees actively listened, engaged, participated fully, and enthusiastically contributed to both their team's and their personal scores. At the end of the four-day training, one outstanding team and three exceptional individuals were selected according to the points and exam rankings. The results are as follows:
First place: Chang Xinran
Second place: Jia Tianshuo
Third place: Jia Ziyue

Youth Competition


In addition, to foster the growth of new talent within the company, stimulate innovation, enhance cross-disciplinary technical exchange among different professional lines, and improve management awareness and professional ethics, the annual Huaxia Jianlong’s Youth Competition was held on July 7 at the Hilton Hotel in Daxing, Beijing. The event was attended by more than 70 individuals, including Huaxia Jianlong's Chairman Yuan Zhanyong, General Manager Li Jinqian, Executive Vice General Manager Jin Wei, Vice General Manager Zhang Zhansheng, several subsidiary company Vice General Managers, the head of the Human Resources and Administration Department, and trainees from the 2024 class.
Competition Site


A total of 8 participants, all university graduates joining various subsidiaries and departments within the past five years, took part in the college graduate project challenge competition. This competition, integrating the company’s expertise in mineral processing, mining, automation, and equipment, proposed 24 technical topics. After rigorous screening by the Huaxia Jianlong project mentor team, 8 topics were selected for presentation and demonstration.

 During the competition, the contestants, drawing from their respective fields of expertise, presented their projects with a meticulous, earnest, and professional approach using the management tools they had learned. The judges scored and reviewed each project and contestant’s performance, and announced the competition results:
Champion: Yang Xiuying from Baotong Mining, with the project Research on Flotation Recovery of Ultra-fine Particle Tailings
Runner-up: Chen Hu from Zhurihe Copper Industry, with Reducing Copper Tailings Grade to Improve Copper Recovery Rate
Third place: Wang Rongxu from Baitong Mining, with Application of Hydrocyclone Modification to Enhance Phosphate Yield

On July 11th, fresh graduate employees were led by the directors of Human Resources and Administration from each subsidiary to their respective work positions. With the spirit of youth and ambition, they accompany the Huaxia Jianlong on their journey. May all the newcomers follow their dreams, thrive towards the sun, and embark on a new journey in their lives at Huaxia Jianlong!
