China Jianlong Successfully Concludes Finals of the First 2025 "Jianlong Cup" Billiards Tournament

Billiards is a sport that combines wisdom and skill, composure and passion. It serves not only as a competitive arena to test individual ability but also as a vital bridge for fostering camaraderie and showcasing style. To ignite the competitive spirit of all employees and strengthen team cohesion, the finals of China Jianlong's first 2025 "Jianlong Cup" Billiards Tournament were successfully held in Huailai County, Zhangjiakou, on December 12. A total of 24 players from 12 teams representing the headquarters and various subsidiaries participated.
At the opening ceremony, Geng Lifeng, General Manager of the Fanshan Phosphate Mine, extended a warm welcome to all participants. He stated that this "Jianlong Cup" finals provided an excellent platform for billiards enthusiasts across the company to showcase their talents and exchange skills. Through intense competition on the court, players could deeply appreciate the spirit of striving hard and never giving up. He earnestly hoped all athletes would compete calmly, perform steadily, and demonstrate the dynamic spirit of Jianlong employees at their best, showcasing both skill and sportsmanship on the table to achieve ideal results.
According to the tournament format, the 24 participants were drawn into groups following a "32-player double-elimination bracket" rule. Through 10 rounds of fierce competition, the champions, runner-ups, and third-place winners were ultimately determined. At the venue, players quickly entered peak competitive form, delivering precise shots and clever positioning, offering the audience a spectacular visual feast.

Runner-up: Wang Kuo (Baotong Mining)
Third Place: Li Chengzhi (Baotong Mining)
The Fanshan Phosphate Mine received the Best Organization Award at this first 2025 "Jianlong Cup" Billiards Tournament finals of China Jianlong.
In his concluding remarks, Jin Wei, Executive Vice General Manager of China Jianlong, shared his understanding and reflections on sports. Mr. Jin noted that the charm of sports lies between chance and inevitability. Outcomes on the court can be influenced by factors like form and mindset, which is precisely what makes competition thrilling. However, consistent performance is also rooted in relentless daily practice. Sports temper the will, teaching perseverance through wins and losses, forging a stronger inner self. Simultaneously, sports serve as a bridge for social interaction—whether teammates fighting side by side or opponents challenging each other, they can become lifelong friends. Finally, Mr. Jin encouraged every employee to cultivate a sport they love and stick with it long-term, maintaining good health, achieving growth through dedicated work, and enriching life through joyful living.
