Focusing on "AI + Mining" | Decoding DeepSeek Deployment to Ignite New Engine of Digital Intelligence in Mining Industry

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the mining industry is undergoing unprecedented transformation and opportunities. To enhance corporate awareness and skills in AI application, learn advanced management concepts and professional tools, and explore application prospects of DeepSeek in intelligent mining models, Huaxia Jianlong organized a training session themed "AI Empowers Mining, Intelligence Leads the Future" on the afternoon of March 13, 2025. The event invited Xing Xiaolong, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shanghai Baoxin Intelligent Mining, and Dr. Li Kang, project leader from BGRIMM Technology Group, as lecturers. Participants included Yuan Zhanyong, Vice President of Jianlong Group and Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, Li Jinqian, Vice President of Jianlong Group and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, along with mid-to-senior management and technical personnel from Beijing headquarters and subsidiaries.

Xing Xiaolong delivered a presentation titled "Conceptual Framework of Intelligent Mining Empowered by AI Large Models", highlighting how mining AI applications demonstrate strong innovation under dual drivers of policy and demand. Through knowledge-driven approaches, intelligent upgrades in equipment maintenance and production management are creating new opportunities for developing intrinsically safe, eco-efficient, and resource-intensive smart mines.

Dr. Li Kang presented an "AI Lecture Series", outlining the evolutionary trajectory, operational principles, and application boundaries of artificial intelligence. He elucidated the operational essence of large language models (LLMs) at mechanistic level, detailed applicable scenarios and capabilities of AI, and thoroughly explored implementation pathways and prospects for AI applications in mining sector.

Chairman Yuan Zhanyong called on all employees to embrace cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence with broad international perspective and profound strategic thinking, positioning them as core drivers for corporate transformation. He mandated comprehensive integration of AI tools across core operations including geological exploration, mining, mineral processing, equipment management, and safety production. This initiative aims to establish intelligent, digital, and green mining production systems that transcend traditional operational boundaries, enhancing production efficiency, resource utilization, and safety standards. Yuan emphasized that technological revolution fundamentally represents human transformation, advocating "talent-first" strategy to redefine roles, rebuild organizational capabilities, and stimulate innovation potential through dual drivers of technological empowerment and talent development.
