Successful Conclusion of the 6th "Youth of Strivers" Series Events of Huaxia Jianlong: "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Tournament
On June 28th, the final of "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis League of the 6th "Youth of Strivers" series of events was held at the Kuancheng County Education Park Gymnasium. The tournament attracted 11 teams from various companies, comprising a total of 43 participants. This event was not only a display of the athletic skills of the staff, but also a tribute to the "July 1st" CPC Founding Day by all the staff at Huaxia Jianlong. It showcased the spirit of unity, progress, and positivity among staff.
During the opening speech, Mr. Gao Wenming, the General Manager of Kuancheng Jianlong, warmly welcomed the participants. He mentioned that this tournament provided a platform for the table tennis enthusiasts to showcase their talents and exchange their skills. Not only can they enjoy the exciting duel of skills, but also feel the spirit of unity and perseverance and relentless determination. He also encouraged that the athletes would give full play to their strengths in the tournament and show the best state of mind to achieve excellent results!
The competition started with the enthusiastic slogans from the participants, "Start from the details, strive to be the best." They exhibited their skills on the field with sweat and bravery, facing strong opponents without fear, challenging themselves, and competing fiercely. Their strength and actions demonstrated the sporting spirit of "striving, advancing, unity, and cooperation." After fierce competitions, the results came out:
Men's singles: Champion: Shi Yingjie from Fengning Xinyuan; Runner-up: Liao Yu from Huaxia Jianlong; Third place: Feng Min from Fanshan Phosphate Mine.
Women's singles: Champion: Jin Wei from Huaxia Jialong; Runner-up: Wang Xuedong from Fengning; Third place: Zhong Weili from Zhurihe Copper.
Team competition: Champion: Huaxia Jianlong team; Runner-up: Fanshan Phosphorus Mine team; Third place: Kuancheng Jianlong team.
Kuancheng Jianlong won the Best Organization Award in this "Jianlong Cup" Table Tennis Tournament.
In her closing speech, Jin Wei, the executive deputy general manager of Huaxia Jianlong, emphasized that the sports spirit represents a drive for excellence. She stated, “Even if you haven't stepped back today, the progress of others is your setback. The essence of the competition is that no matter how strong you think you are, you still need the test of competition and the challenge of opponents.” Ms. Jin called on the participants to understand and appreciate the value of respect— respecting opponents, coaches, and all staff. She encouraged everyone to cultivate a more self-disciplined and healthier attitude towards life, so as to promote the company's high-quality development!
