A Record of Huaxia Jianlong's 2024 Work Safety Month Activities
June 2024 marks the 23rd National "Work Safety Month" in China. All subsidiaries of Huaxia Jianlong earnestly implement the various deployment requirements of the Jianlong Group and the headquarters regarding work safety. Centering around the theme "Everyone Talks about Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response—Ensuring the Life Passage," they have carried out "Work Safety Month" activities that are both influential and effective. These activities aim to further enhance employees' safety literacy emergency response capabilities, hazard identification skills, and other related skills. By doing so, they effectively strengthened safety protection skills, tighten and solidified work safety responsibilities, and ensured the continuous stability of the company's work safety situation.
Building a Solid Safety Line, Creating a Safe Future Together
Safety is the lifeline of an enterprise and also the responsibility and duty of every employee. Each unit meticulously organized the kick-off meeting for the Work Safety Month. On that day, 498 people attended the meeting, jointly reciting the safety oath, clarifying safety goals, and laying a solid foundation for the Work Safety Month activities.
Solemn Commitment to Safeguard Safety
During the Work Safety Month, each unit carefully organized a signing event. Every employee will solemnly sign their name on the safety commitment document. This is not only a commitment to the enterprise but also a commitment to their family and society. Each unit will practice the safety concept with practical actions to ensure work safety and personal safety. The cumulative number of confirmed signatories from all units (including related parties) reached 5,204.
Enhancing Response Capabilities to Ensure Rapid Response
To enhance the employees' emergency response abilities, various units have organized multiple emergency drills, covering common emergencies such as fires, collapses, and floods. They have actively carried out emergency drills for the Sujiagou tailing pond's blockage of the drainage system, the Shihugou tailing pond's comprehensive emergency drill, the Luanping waste dump collapse emergency drill, the Donggou tailing pond emergency drill, and the Jindi tailing pond flood prevention emergency drill. Through these drills, employees of each unit have become familiar with emergency procedures and have mastered self-rescue and mutual aid skills, ensuring they can respond quickly and effectively in critical moments. A total of 546 people have participated in the emergency drills.
Popularizing Safety Knowledge to Enhance Safety Awareness
Safety training and education is an essential component of the Work Safety Month. Various units have invited professional instructors to explain safety knowledge, case analysis, and accident prevention to the employees. Through the training, employees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the safety situation, master safety operation procedures, and enhance their safety awareness and skill levels. A total of 3,215 people have benefited from various forms of training.
Stimulating Safety Enthusiasm to Create a Safe Environment
On June 16th, which is the national "Safety Promotion and Consultation Day," various units have seized this opportunity by conducting a variety of safety education activities. These included distributing informational leaflets, hosting safety knowledge quizzes with prizes, explaining self-rescue and mutual rescue emergency basics, and providing hands-on training with self-rescue devices and fire extinguishers. These efforts continuously enhanced employees' safety awareness, improved their safety prevention and self-protection abilities, and created a strong safety culture.
Safety is No Small Matter, Responsibility is Heavier than Mount Tai
In addition to traditional safety activities, Huaxia Jianlong has launched a series of innovative and characteristic activities, such as safety knowledge contests, safety hazard investigation competitions, and safety-themed photography exhibitions, all aimed to ignite employees' enthusiasm for participating in safety activities and create a strong safety atmosphere. Meanwhile, safety knowledge will be promoted, safety experiences will be shared, and safety achievements will be displayed through channels such as the company’s WeChat official account and corporate website.
Safety work is an ongoing endeavor, and we must always remain vigilant, keeping safety at the forefront of our minds. Let us work together with even greater enthusiasm, a more pragmatic approach, and more effective measures to build a solid safety defense line and escort the continuous and healthy development of Huaxia Jianlong!
