Huaxia Jianlong 2022 Science and Technology Work Summary and Achievement Commendation Meeting
On February 20, 2023, Huaxia Jianlong held the 2022 Science and Technology Work Summary and Achievement Commendation Meeting. Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, Li Jinqian, General Manager, and members of the team, as well as members of the subsidiary teams and relevant technology managers, attended the meeting. Ruan Xiaojiang, Vice President of Jianlong Group, Cai Haoyu, Deputy Director of Strategy and Variety Development Department, and Yuan Rui, Technology Manager, participated the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Chief Engineer Xiang Taiping, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong.

Zhang Zhansheng, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, read out the "Decision on Commending 2022 Technical Achievements and Patents".
Li Pengfei of Jindi Mining,Wang Shuran of Chengde Jianlong, Yang Shuaifeng of Baotong Mining, Geng Lihui of Zhurihe Copper Industry shared their outstanding achievements.
Li Jinqian, General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, summarized the scientific and technological work in 2022 from four aspects, namely, scientific research achievements, intellectual property, industry and group recognition, and awareness in scientific research cooperation. A total of 108 projects were approved throughout the year, with 42 achievements being transformed and completed, and 22 projects being awarded. The annual benefit of the achievements transformation project can reach RMB 79.5422 million. In 2022, 66 patents were generated and applied for, and 59 of them were awarded, with varying degrees of improvement in the number and quality of patents.
While affirming the achievements of scientific research, Mr. Li pointed out the shortcomings and deficiencies in the management of scientific and technological work at the emerging stage. He stressed that the overall requirements of scientific research work in 2023 are "one center, two bases, three main lines and four systems". One center is to focus on development and strive to build a world-class mining enterprise; two bases are to adhere to the core position of scientific and technological innovation in corporate development, and to adhere to scientific and technological innovation as the first power to reduce costs and increase efficiency; three main lines are the main line for the development of non-ferrous metal mines, the main line for comprehensive and in-depth utilization of resources, and the main line for continuous electrification and intelligent transformation; four systems: firstly, to improve the business system of the technology management department; secondly, to actively build a technology research and development platform system; thirdly, to form a talent team construction system of "technology achieves talents, talents promote technology"; and fourthly, to build a research funding support system.
Ruan Xiaojiang, Vice President of Jianlong Group, affirmed the work of Huaxia Jianlong Technology on behalf of Jianlong Group at the meeting. He emphasized that "as one of the two main businesses of the group, in order to gain an advantage in the fierce market competition, mining business must closely focus on the three elements of resources, costs, and products. By vigorously developing technological innovation and cultivating various professional talents, we can increase resource reserves, reduce production costs, and enhance our product competitiveness."
Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a concluding speech titled "Making Technological Innovation the Main Melody of Life". Mr. Yuan provided scientific innovation guidance to scientific and technological workers from three aspects—"the direction of innovation in mining companies", "methods and attitudes to improve innovation capabilities", and "making innovation a habit".
Regarding the direction of innovation in mining companies: firstly, make employees work safer, happier, and smarter; secondly, turn every bit of our labor into valuable labor; thirdly, various advanced technologies can be applied in mines; fourthly, every element in the mine is useful, and exploration and research on the comprehensive utilization of mining resources should be strengthened.
Methods and attitudes to improve innovation capabilities: firstly, researchers should have an open attitude and change their rigid thinking patterns; secondly, we should dare to pursue theoretical limits for scientific research projects; thirdly, we need to strengthen communication and cooperation with research institutes and universities, work with giants, and join forces with capable individuals; fourthly, utilize advanced technology and equipment to change traditional process flow and achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase; lastly, pay attention to the various details in the production process, seize the characteristics, and pursue the essence of creating profits.
Make innovation a habit: integrate the corporate spirit into new work, pay attention to the impact of technological innovation on enterprise production, make pursuit a habit, and constantly pursue the improvement of enterprise value.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Yuan called on the majority of scientific researchers to work hard and build Huaxia Jianlong a tailless mine, a collective of high-precision technology and a cradle of technological innovation talents, making the mine a paradise for employees, and striving to achieve the company's development strategic goal for 2023!
