Huaxia Jianlong Held the 2020 Technical Achievement Summary/Commendation Conference and the Launching Conference of the Mining Technology Research Institute

On January 20, 2020, the Huaxia Jianlong 2020 Technical Work Summary/Commendation and the Launch Conference of the Mining Technology Research Institute was held through a video conference. A total of 162 people attended the meeting, including Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong Mining, Chairman of the Science and Technology Association, senior management of the Company, members of the Science and Technology Committee, general managers of various subsidiaries, deputy general managers in charge of science and technology, department managers of the headquarters, and technical workers from various subsidiaries. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Zong, Chief Engineer of Huaxia Jianlong.


On January 20, 2020, the Huaxia Jianlong 2020 Technical Work Summary/Commendation and the Launch Conference of the Mining Technology Research Institute was held through a video conference. A total of 162 people attended the meeting, including Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong Mining, Chairman of the Science and Technology Association, senior management of the Company, members of the Science and Technology Committee, general managers of various subsidiaries, deputy general managers in charge of science and technology, department managers of the headquarters, and technical workers from various subsidiaries. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Zong, Chief Engineer of Huaxia Jianlong.

In 2020, the entire company carried out a total of 55 technical projects, with 25 projects completed. The transformation results achieved an annual benefit of RMB 95.0991 million. To constantly promote the Company's technological innovation, guide employees in the development of innovative ideas, cultivate innovative ability, create an innovative atmosphere, and encourage teams and individuals who have made contributions to the scientific and technological progress, the Science and Technology Association authorized by the company has decided to commend and award 25 technical achievements in 2020, including "Research and Application of Luanping Longwei Mine's Full Dry Drainage Technology", and 6 patents, including "Fanshan Phosphate Mine's Foam Tank for Flotation", and four papers, including "The Industrial Application of a New Vertical Magnetic Field Screening Machine in an Iron Mine in Hebei".

The meeting this time has a theme of "discovering the fun of technology and achieving the beauty of life". The main agenda of the meeting is to recognize the technical achievements and share typical achievements, the summary of scientific and technological work in 2020 and the work plan for 2021, the interpretation of initiation and plan of the Mining Technology Research Institute, training in scientific research methods, and the summary speech of Mr. Yuan.
On the morning of January 20, Zhang Liang, Deputy Manager of the Production Technology Department, gave a report on Huaxia Jianlong's "2020 Science and Technology Work Summary and 2021 Science and Technology Work Plan". The company's technical research progress over the last year, the recognition of high-tech enterprises, patent acquisition, team building, problems and deficiencies, and the goals for scientific and technological work in next year were reported and interpreted in detail.

Chen Haibin, Executive Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, read out the "Decision on Commendation of 2020 Technical Achievements, Patents, and Papers" (Mining Development and Administration No. [2021] 03).

At the award ceremony, four paper awards were granted to Lu Weitao from the Production Technology Department of Huaxia Jianlong for his "Industrial Application of New Vertical Magnetic Field Screening Machine in an Iron Mine in Hebei", Yan Leichao from Luanping Jianlong for his "Research on the Full-size Dry Drainage Process of Tailing of a Magnetite Mine in Hebei"; six patents, including "Delayed Filling Mining Method at Segmented Drilling Stage with a Flat Bottom Structure", were awarded; Zhang Jiangang from the Personnel and Administrative Department won the Intelligent Innovation Award for his technical project "Integrated Development and Application of Jindi Automation Program based on Single Portal V16".

Twelve projects, including "Renovation of HP500 Crusher Motor Base in the Fine Crushing Workshop of Jianlong Third Dressing Plant in Chengde County", have won the Technical Achievement Encouragement Award; six projects including "Transformation of Baitong Mining Tailing Transportation System - Mechanized Sand Recovery" won the third prize for technical achievements; two projects, including "Technical Transformation of the Second Stage Ball Milling Process of Jianlong Second Dressing Plant in Chengde County", won the Second Prize for Technical Achievements; four projects, including "Research and Application of Full Dry Drainage Technology in Luanping Jianlong Tailing Mine", won the First Prize for Technical Achievements.

After the award ceremony, Zhou Yue, General Manager of Luanping Jianlong, made a speech on "Research and application of the full dry drainage technology of Luanping Jianlong Mine", Zhang Changwei, Chief Engineer of Chengde Jianlong, made a speech on "Research on cost optimization of the grinding system of Chengde Jianlong", Yang Shuaifeng, director of production technology of Baotong Mining, made a speech on "Optimization and improvement of recovery rate of Baotong Mining's phosphorus separation process", and Lin Fujin, the Director of Chengde Jianlong Third Dressing Plant, shared the typical achievements of "Renovation of HP500 Crusher Motor Base in the Fine Crushing Workshop of Chengde Jianlong Third Concentrator".

At the meeting, each subsidiary presented a summary of its technology work in 2020 and a report on its technology work plan in 2021.
On the afternoon of January 20, Chen Haibin, Executive Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, read out Jianlong Group's "Notice on the Establishment of a Mining Technology Research Institute and the Appointment of Supervisors" (JKZG (2020) No. 42 document. Chief Engineer Zhang Zong announced the list of directors appointed by the Mining Technology Research Institute. Zhang Liang, Deputy Manager of the Production Technology Department, interpreted the "Construction Plan of the Mining Technology Research Institute", and Chen Haibin, Director of the Mining Technology Research Institute, proposed requirements for the work of the institute.

At the meeting, each research group picked a project from the "Ten Projects" of 2021.

Huaxia Jianlong signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Enfi Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. at the meeting.

The company invited Chen Songxuan, the Dean of Enfi Research Institute, to give a training lecture on "Reflections on the Concept, Paradigm, and Practice of Enterprise Science and Technology Innovation".

At last, Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a speech titled "Supporting Technology Development with Ideals and Beliefs, Achieving Life and Career Dreams with Devotion". Mr. Yuan has provided education on ideals and beliefs to scientific and technological workers from two aspects: "only with lofty ideals can we achieve big goals" and "only with firm beliefs can we achieve great missions". He has systematically put forward work requirements for scientific and technological workers and mining technology research institutes from three aspects: "only love can achieve miracles", "only perfection can create value", and "only innovation can ignite dreams". In addition, he has put forward the "Ten Musts" in scientific and technological work: must base on our resources to empower the resources, must expand the concept and reserves of resources, must maximize the value of resources from beneficiation, must plan the cultivation and development of talents, must build mines into complexes, must break the mystery of technology and bring joy to technological innovation, must establish our own scientific research characteristics, must actively introduce and promote the implementation of new technologies and processes, must love technology work and treat it as a joyful thing, and must pursue technology work endlessly.
Mr. Yuan shared the connotation of engineer culture, craftsmanship spirit and scientific spirit with the attendants, and requested the Association for Science and Technology of the Company to further improve the innovation mechanism, so that everyone can share the innovative achievements, while improving the promotion mechanism to provide development space for innovative talents; he wished to see our scientific and technological personnel practice with their hands, love the tools, never be satisfied with improvement and perfection. They shall develop rational thinking, maintain curiosity, love our profession with firm faith, fight for honor, and build a great enterprise.
