Huaxia Jianlong Held the 2020 Summary and Commendation Conference themed with "Focusing on Technological Innovation, Leading Quality Development, and Starting a New Journey towards Building a Great Enterprise" in the Form of Video Conference

The year 2020 is an extraordinary year. In the face of the sudden COVID-19, all the employees of the company stuck to their posts, overcame difficulties, stayed united as one, fought against the epidemic and ensured production, effectively guaranteeing the orderly production and operation, and overfulfilling the overall budget target. On the morning of January 12, 2021, Huaxia Jianlong held the 2020 Summary and Commendation Conference themed with "Focusing on Technological Innovation, Leading Quality Development, and Opening a New Journey for Building a Great Enterprise" was held in the form of video conference to summarize the past and commend the advanced in consideration of the special requirements of epidemic prevention and control. Staff members from Huaxia Jianlong Mining Headquarters, mid-level and senior management personnel and outstanding employee representatives from various subsidiaries attended the conference in the form of video conference. Chen Haibin, Executive Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Baotong Mining, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Cong Gecheng, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, read out the "Decision on Commending Advanced Teams and Excellent Individuals of 2020".

There are a total of 76 winners of the "Outstanding Employee Award" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020. Wang Jiuhua, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, presented the award to outstanding employee representatives on site in Beijing. The leaders in charge of each subsidiary respectively presented awards to outstanding employee representatives in the company. Zhu Jiawang, a beneficiation technician of Baotong Mining, Miao Youzhu from Production Technology Department of Chengde Jianlong, and Liu Haiquan, from Huaxia Jianlong's Personnel and Administrative Department, made speeches on behalf of outstanding employees.

There are a total of 5 winners of the "Future Star Award" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020. The leaders in charge of each subsidiary presented awards to the winners. Zhang Zuojin from Baotong Mining Technology Research and Development Office delivered an acceptance speech.

There are a total of 4 winners of the "Efficiency Creator Award" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020. Mr. Ye Zhijiu, Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, presented the awards to the award-winning employees at the Beijing headquarters. Zhang Zhenhao, Director of Huaxia Jianlong Investment and Financing Department, delivered an acceptance speech.

There are a total of 16 teams awarded the "Outstanding Team Leader and Excellent Team Award" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020. Chen Yanlei, from the electrician team of Chengde Jianlong Third Concentrator, and Ning Yanwei, the production team of Hebei Hengchuan Furnace Workshop, delivered their acceptance speeches.

A total of 9 outstanding partners and 5 outstanding collaborators in the 2020 were awarded "Outstanding Collaborator and Outstanding Partner Awards" of Huaxia Jianlong. Mr. Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, presented a medal to Jiang Guangying, President of Beijing 89 Management Consulting Co., Ltd., who is a representative of outstanding partner units.

A total of 3 people won the "Award for Hardworking Employee" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020. Mr. Zhang Wenjian, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Fengning Xinyuan, presented the awards to the winners.
Huaxia Jianlong has granted a total of 4 outstanding mid-level and senior managers and 1 outstanding senior management team with the "Outstanding Mid-level and Senior Managers and Excellent Senior Management Team Award" in 2020. Lu Hongfang, General Manager of Baitong Mining, delivered an acceptance speech on behalf of mid-level and senior managers.

Jin Wei, Deputy General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, was the winner of the "Outstanding Senior Manager Award" of Huaxia Jianlong in 2020; Chen Haibin, Executive Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Baotong Mining, and Han Zhuangju, Director of Jindi Mining Finance and Enterprise, were awarded the "General Manager Special Award".

After the award ceremony, Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, signed a 2021 performance contract online with the general managers of Baotong Mining, Baitong Mining, Chengde County Jianlong, Jindi Mining, Kuancheng Jianlong, Luanping Jianlong, and Zhurihe Copper. At the meeting, each subsidiary was required to consider performance contracts as a fundamental goal that must be achieved annually. At the same time, managers at all levels should focus on valuable innovation and efficiency creation to improve quality work on the basis of building a safe enterprise and green mines. They should adhere to their commitments and make every effort to fulfill the responsibilities and mission of managers.

Mr. Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a 2020 work report titled "Focusing on Technological Innovation, Leading Quality Development, and Starting a New Journey towards Building a Great Enterprise".
Mr. Yuan pointed out in the report that 2020 was an extremely extraordinary year. In the context of the pandemic with global economic recession, all cadres and employees of the company adhered to the development concept of comprehensive and in-depth utilization of resources, strengthen one center (talent as the center), develop two major industries (mineral products, emerging building materials), and firmly establish three awareness (goals, quality, numbers). With the help of four promotions (promoting the construction of a safety culture system; promoting the construction of green mines and environmental protection; promoting the construction of automation, informatization, and intelligent mines; and promoting team building), we are moving forward with a heavy responsibility to achieve stable and high production of iron concentrate powder, a significant increase in aggregate series products, and completion of main economic indicators that have exceeded the targets.
Mr. Yuan emphasized that looking back at the work in 2020, the business performance of the enterprise has firstly steadily improved. In 2020, the company produced 3.8739 million tons of iron concentrates, 14,429.91 tons of molybdenum concentrates, 1,223.2 tons of copper, 814,700 tons of phosphorus concentrates, 22,004 tons of pyrite concentrates, and 13.057 million tons of aggregates. The company has achieved a main sales revenue of RMB10.744 billion, a total profit of RMB1.042 billion, and a net profit of RMB 845 million; secondly, deepen resource transformation and continuously strengthen and expand emerging building materials; thirdly, increase the introduction of professional talents and emerging talents in the building materials industry; fourthly, continue to promote the four key measures to promote company management and value upgrading; fifthly, strengthen technological innovation, deepen the comprehensive utilization of resources, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises; sixth, strengthen equipment management and energy management, continuously improve the level of equipment and energy management through specialized training and professional basic work promotion; seventh, strengthen financial management, reduce financial leverage and financial risks; lastly, strengthen the development of corporate culture, bravely assume social responsibility, and build green and harmonious mines.

Mr. Yuan required that in the new year, we should continue to focus on the strategic positioning of "two major industries, three auxiliary sectors, and five-in-one", focus on technological innovation, and lead the high-quality development of the enterprise. With the theme of "technological innovation, goal focus, quality improvement, and greenness and safety", we continue to deepen the comprehensive utilization and deep utilization of resources, and continue to take the four major measures to promote the company's specialization, standardization, leanness, and intelligence, achieving another leap in business development and creating a great enterprise. The tasks as follows shall be carried out in 2021:

First, in terms of technological innovation, we adhere to the depth of technological research and development oriented towards the company's existing resources, the promotion of upgrading research and development of building materials, the application of achievements in the fertilizer and new energy industries, achieving breakthroughs in new business sectors, the full utilization of the company's land and spatial resources, achieving efficient utilization of land resources, and the acceleration of the construction of intelligent mines, strengthening the construction of scientific and technological talent teams to ensure the implementation of scientific and technological innovation; second, focus on the target, cash flow, market goals, and truly understand customer needs; third, improve the quality, further enhance the quality of the cadre team, call on all cadres to learn from Chen Haibin, develop a "Chen Haibin style" leadership, improve the quality of promoting grassroots management with team building standardization, improve people-oriented and quality of work and living of employees; fourth, in terms of green safety, we will continue to promote the establishment of a safety culture system, continue to promote the construction of green mines, create mining complexes, strengthen risk management, and ensure the safe and sound operation of the company.
