An Inspection Trip to Baotong Mining from a Delegation of Chengde
On April 21, Cui Wanfeng, Deputy Mayor of Chengde, led a delegation to on an inspection trip to Baotong Mining, accompanied by Fan Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Chengde Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau; Guo Yaodong, Executive Deputy Magistrate of Luanping County; Zhou Xinli and Gao Jianlong, Deputy Directors of the Luanping County Development and Reform Bureau; and Wang Xun, Deputy Director of the Luanping County Administration for Market Regulation. Zhou Zhenhua, General Manager Assistant of Beijing Huaxia Jianlong Mining Technology Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Chengde Baotong Mining, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.
The delegation delved into the production line of Baotong Mining, conducting field inspections of key areas including the phosphate beneficiation workshop, ecological greenhouse, research center, and production dispatching and command center. Deputy Mayor Cui inquired in detail about the company's innovations in comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, inspected the operation of the intelligent production dispatching system, sharing his insights on the declaration and construction of a provincial vanadium-titanium product inspection and testing center.
Later, Deputy Mayor Cui Wanfeng presided over a discussion session on the first floor of the Intelligent Building at Baotong Mining. The Luanping County Government delivered a systematic report on the development of the vanadium-titanium comprehensive utilization industrial cluster and the construction of the shared intelligent manufacturing platform. As a representative enterprise, Baotong Mining highlighted three key areas of progress in its report: First, deepening industry-academia-research collaborative innovation by establishing a joint research mechanism with colleges and universities and seeking breakthroughs in efficient extraction technologies for valuable minerals such as phosphorus, copper, sulfur, and titanium from tailings, thus providing technical support for the development of the regional vanadium-titanium industrial cluster. Second, building a shared inspection and testing platform. Upon completion, the "Vanadium-Titanium Comprehensive Utilization Industrial Cluster’s Product Inspection and Testing Center" will effectively resolve the cost issues of testing in Beijing for enterprises and promote the construction of a standardized system for vanadium-titanium products in Chengde. Third, accelerating the construction of intelligent mines by continuously improving digital functions such as equipment life-cycle management, intelligent energy control, and industrial big data sharing on the basis of the existing intelligent production dispatching and command center, thus laying the foundation for the construction of an industrial internet platform for Luanping’s vanadium-titanium industrial cluster.
During the session, Deputy Mayor Cui emphasized the following points: First, Baotong Mining, as an industry benchmark, has taken the lead in the comprehensive resource utilization and, through the sharing of technological innovations, has effectively promoted the coordinated development of the vanadium-titanium industrial cluster, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy. Second, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the standards for green mine construction, fully implement the national "dual carbon" strategy, and build high-standard mines with a "garden-like" ecosystem, focusing on promoting the construction of pumped storage power stations and establishing a green circular economy industrial chain. Third, it is essential to expedite the preparation for the provincial testing center, ensuring that the quality and efficiency of the project under the overall requirements of "solidifying the foundation, refining the plan, and accelerating the progress".
Huaxia Jianlong continually strengthens its advantages in comprehensive resource utilization by enhancing the technology of the vanadium-titanium industrial cluster and promoting the development of "shared intelligent manufacturing." We are committed to deepening the construction of our R&D and standardization system, upgrading the hardware facilities of our laboratories, striving to build a modern inspection and testing platform that integrates testing, research, and service, providing strong technical support for the efficient utilization of green mineral resources.
