Huaxia Jianlong Successfully Held the 2023 Annual Summary and Commendation Conference
On January 9, 2024, the 2023 annual summary and commendation conference of Huaxia Jianlong was held in Chengde Baotong Mining. Mr. Zhang Zhixiang, Chairman of the Board and President of Jianlong Heavy Industry Group, Mr. Yuan Zhanyong, Vice President of Jianlong Heavy Industry Group and Chairman of Huaxia Jialong, Mr. Huang Dan, Vice President of Jianlong Heavy Industry Group, Mr. Li Jinqian, Vice President of Jianlong Heavy Industry Group and General Manager of Huaxia Jialong, Ms. Yu Tongyu, Director of Mining of Jianlong Group, and cadres from middle and senior management of the headquarters in Beijing and subsidiaries as well as representatives of excellent employees attended the conference. The conference was presided over by Ms. Jin Wei, Executive Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jialong.
At the conference, Mr. Gao Pinjun, Vice General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong and General Manager of Chengde Jianlong, read out the Decision on Commending Advanced Teams and Outstanding Individuals for the Year 2023.
Participants watched the award-winning video of each winner, witnessing the inspiring style of excellent employees and excellent teams.
After the award ceremony, Mr. Li Jinqian, General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, signed the 2024 performance contract, guarantee for safety production, and integrity and self-discipline commitment with the general managers of all subsidiaries. This not only implies the assumption of goals and responsibilities, but also transfers confidence, trust and faith. In the new year, on a new journey, the managers at all levels are required to live up to their responsibilities and missions, put their commitments into action and transform goals into reality, backing up the development of the Group with excellent business indicators and fulfilling their duties and missions as business managers.
General Manager Li Jinqian made a working report titled "Compacting the Resource for Higher Potential and Efficiency, and Promoting the High-quality Development by Scientific and Technological Innovation". This report summarized the work in 2023 comprehensively in ten aspects, such as steadily implementing the "Great Baotong Strategy", strengthening geological exploration, promoting project development, and carrying out the activity of "reducing costs and increasing efficiency". The report also fully affirmed the achievements of leaders at all levels made in 2023. It pointed out the gaps that existed in 2023, and put forward the guideline of 2024 with "one goal, two main lines, three measures and four key levers", deploying the work in 2024 in 11 aspects.
Chairman Zhang Zhixiang fully affirmed the work achievements of Huaxia Jianlong in 2023, the results achieved in the field of comprehensive utilization of resources over the years and the improvement and enhancement of basic management.
Speaking of the development prospects of the mining industry, Zhang Zhixiang, with wise thinking and keen vision, pointed out in a higher dimension that, with the rapid development of the global high-end manufacturing industry and the new energy industry, there is an increasing demand for the mining industry; all kinds of technologies, especially the ever-changing digital technology and exploration technology, will push the mining industry to develop more efficiently, scientifically and rationally. This will further strengthen our confidence and determination to grow bigger and stronger with realization of high-quality development. For the next key work, Zhang Zhixiang put forward five expectations: First, resources are the lifeblood, so we must regard the ability to survey and judge resources as the core ability of mining enterprises to provide a sufficient basis for decision-making. Second, we shall further increase scientific research efforts, enhance the comprehensive utilization of resources, delve deep into the technology dividend and the value of mining resources, and cultivate a group of top scientists in the industry. Third, we must attach great importance to digitalization and intelligentization construction, and build digital and intelligent mines with greater strength and determination, so as to truly activate the potential and empower production. Fourth, we must elevate safety to a strategic level, make safety the core competitiveness of the enterprise, and effectively put the safety concept, responsibility decomposition, risk identification and other work into practice to create an intrinsically safe enterprise. Fifth, we must strengthen the construction of talent team, with a focus on building grassroots, professional, and cadre teams. The cadre team, in particular, must pay attention to the quality of integrity, and truly select the cadres with sentiment, pursuit and responsibility, who will eventually become the driving force of our development.
