Visit from the Lean Team Building Training Camp of Bajiu Consulting Company for Study & Exchange at Baotong Mining of Huaxia Jianlong


Recently, a delegation of over 30 core management staff from more than 10 enterprises nationwide, organized by Beijing Bajiu Consulting Company, paid a field visit to Baotong Mining, a subsidiary under Huaxia Jianlong. The group conducted in-depth immersive research focusing on team development, intelligent system implementation, safety management and production operation, with an aim to learn from the company’s standardized, lean and digital workshop team development practices built around the management philosophy of Every Employee Is an Operator. Xu Guigang, Assistant General Manager of Baotong Mining, Hu Xuying, lead in charge of team development promotion at Huaxia Jianlong, alongside department heads of relevant business divisions accompanied the entire inspection tour.

The visiting group conducted on-site study across Baotong Mining’s Intelligent Command Center, R&D & Testing Center and Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall. Standing before the smart dispatching large-screen display, the commentator elaborated on the real-time digital management framework covering mine production, equipment maintenance and energy consumption control under the full-process data governance system. Inside the culture exhibition hall, participants lingered at public boards showing teams’ value creation performance, gaining detailed insights into visualized management practices including monthly team profit generation, implementation of improvement proposals and cultivation of positive employee habits. On-site breakdown of quantitative operational rules helped visitors grasp the practical execution of the core philosophy: Each workshop team functions as a miniature business unit, and every individual serves as an independent operator.

Lingxing Workshop adopted an innovative presentation format combining live speeches by in-house team presenters and supplementary interpretation by workshop lead Sun Geng. Centered on three core dimensions — corporate culture implementation logic, practical team management approaches and transformation of employee work behaviors, the team reviewed full-cycle results of team development with authentic production cases. The creative presentation style won unanimous praise from all visitors. At the Wangxi Flotation Team of Phosphorus Dressing Workshop, pre-shift briefings are standardized in line with eight core management protocols, forming closed-loop workflows covering safety training, production task briefing, hidden danger inspection and employee suggestion collection. Clear role allocation among team committee members and high morale among staff embed refined management right at the pre-work preparation stage. Within this team-based miniature business model, drivers monitor fuel consumption, operators manage power usage, and maintenance crews curb equipment breakdowns, with every staff member keeping a dedicated post-based operational account. Many visiting attendees commented: They previously assumed lean management relied solely on professional engineers, yet Huaxia Jianlong has integrated lean thinking into daily frontline work for all staff instead of confining it to specialists.
The on-site study tour concluded successfully, with heated discussions continuing among participants aboard the return coach. Trainees spoke highly of the trip: “We are utterly impressed!
