Huaxia Jianlong Holds Launch Meeting for 2026 Production Safety Month

On May 29, Huaxia Jianlong held the launch meeting for the 25th National "Production Safety Month" campaign. Centered on the theme "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response — Identify and Rectify Risks and Hazards," the meeting fully implemented relevant production safety directives and the requirements of the three-year rectification campaign, continuing to deepen "people-oriented plus asset-oriented" safety development and driving the implementation of the "three musts" principle — that all managers must take safety responsibility within their respective domains. The company upholds technology-enabled safety and full participation, aiming to comprehensively enhance employee safety literacy and emergency response capabilities, safeguard employees' lives and health, and fortify the Production Safety line. Attendees included the company's leadership team, department managers and headquarters staff, as well as mid-to-senior management of subsidiaries and project managers of outsourced units.

At the meeting, Li Lingchao, Manager of the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, presented and explained the Huaxia Jianlong 2026 Production Safety Month Activity Plan. All participants collectively viewed the documentaries General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Expositions on Production Safety, Production Safety: Responsibility on Our Shoulders, and Accident Warning Films. They thoroughly studied the General Secretary's important directives on "putting people first and life above all," deeply internalized the sense of responsibility embodied in "never letting guard down for a moment," took lessons from real cases as a mirror, and kept the alarm bells ringing — ensuring that the philosophy of safe development runs through the entire production and operation process.

Zhou Zhenhua, Huaxia Jianlong Vice General Manager and General Manager of Baotong Mining, deployed all tasks for the Production Safety Month. He required all units to complete the campaign launch publicity and all-staff safety training on schedule, strengthen the safety management team, and develop safety showcase projects. At the same time, he mandated strict implementation of the "three musts" principle, checklist-based hazard inspection, standardized maintenance and repair operations with typical case sharing, and concurrent organization of emergency drills and safety short-video competitions — all aimed at fully fortifying the production safety line.

Huaxia Jianlong General Manager Li Jinqian conducted an in-depth deployment of safety work, drawing lessons from real cases. Referencing multiple external accident cases, he comprehensively analyzed six categories of safety risks, identifying fatal hazards such as slope instability and water inrush. He demanded that all employees keep the alarm bells ringing at all times, eliminate any complacency or laxity, stay deeply vigilant, and abandon lucky-chance thinking. Around the seven statutory production safety responsibilities, he required all units to keep regulations up to date, improve training effectiveness, solidify hazard remediation, optimize emergency response systems, strictly enforce accident reporting procedures, and compress responsibility onto every level — guarding enterprise production safety with high-standard controls.

Huaxia Jianlong Chairman Yuan Zhanyong delivered a concluding speech titled "Life First, Unity of Knowledge and Action." Chairman Yuan stated that Production Safety Month must place compliance, integrity, and reverence for life at the highest priority, hold the safety bottom line firmly, and resolutely eliminate fluke mind and violations. Safety work must follow first-principles thinking — penetrating surface phenomena to grasp essentials, digging deep to root causes, and discarding empiricism. The frontline work method must be fully practiced: managers at all levels must go down to operational sites, conduct full-coverage hazard inspections, face problems directly, rectify issues immediately, and proactively break through bottlenecks. He emphasized upholding systems thinking and balanced planning to drive iterative upgrades in safety management, leveraging intelligent means to reinforce intrinsic safety and elevate control standards. Chairman Yuan stressed that safety management must focus on hard problems, tackle difficulties head-on, and fulfill responsibilities with commitment — embracing the mindset that "success need not be mine, but success must involve me." At the same time, he called for knowing people well and assigning them wisely, strengthening the team, selecting key personnel for critical posts, and energizing the entire workforce. All personnel must deeply embed the eight core philosophies, carry forward the spirit of "Starting from Every Detail, Striving for Nothing Less Than First," unite knowledge with action, and practice with dedication — internalizing safety culture in the heart and expressing it in action, building a solid safety foundation with a rigorous and pragmatic approach, and escorting the company's high-quality development.
