Huaxia Jianlong Held Veterans Symposium in Celebration of the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Liberation Army of China

To celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Liberation Army of China, the Party branch of Huaxia Jianlong held a symposium for veterans on duty on July 30. Yuan Zhanyong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Huaxia Jianlong, senior leaders, all the Party members, middle and senior managers of the subsidiaries, and 203 veterans of the company attended the symposium. The company also invited Ms. Yang Jinxia from Beijing 89MC Management Consulting Co., Ltd. to deliver lectures.
As the solemn national anthem was played, the symposium for veterans in celebration of "August 1st Army Day" kicked off at Huaxia Jianlong.
At the symposium, the participants first watched a video on soliders. They then watched the clip of the Founding of An Army as well as a collection of clips from the 70th anniversary military parade and the video of the companys veterans on duty. The videos helped everyone to recall the history of the founding of the army, and experience the military power of the country, promote the spirit of soldiers, and inherit military culture. When they saw their own old photos in military uniforms, their memories were immediately brought back to the passionate military years. The military service gave them regretless youth.
Three veteran representatives on different positions, namely, Jin Baocheng from Baotong Mining, Wang Dawei from Kuancheng Jianlong Mining, and Zhao Mingqiang from Fanshan Phosphorite, delivered speeches on their military experience, civilian work after discharge from the army, and the deeds to promote military style. The participants were all deeply impressed by their soul-stirring and wonderful life experience, strong sense of responsibility as veterans, unceasing learning, fight against hardships, and unyielding spirit.
Ms. Yang Jinxia from Beijing 89MC Management Consulting Co., Ltd. delivered a lecture on the "Application of Military Management in Team Building", focusing on how the army develops talents and what enterprises should learn from military management, etc.
Yuan Zhanyong, Chairman and General Manager of Huaxia Jianlong, delivered a speech on "Promoting the Excellent Style of Soldiers and Boosting the Rapid Development of the Enterprise". First of all, he extended holiday congratulations on the special day and respect to the veterans of the company, and expressed thanks to them for their material and spiritual contributions to the company. Mr. Yuan pointed out, "thanking you for bringing the excellent style and glorious traditions of the army to the company, promoting the spirit of hard work and dedication; you set good examples for the colleagues to make tremendous contributions to the development of Huaxia Jianlong".
Veterans are important sources of outstanding employees. Mr. Yuan raised the following requirements to give a better play to the role of the veterans in the company: Firstly, a veteran management organization should be established and the related departments should provide support and deliver services as necessary; secondly, more veterans should be employed, accounting for over 15% of the total staff and the positive role of solders should be leveraged; thirdly, a series of activities should be organized to learn from the soldiers, efforts should be made to improve the style of the cadre team, and soldiers' strong execution should be promoted in the company.
At the end of the symposium, he emphasized that retired soldiers should stay firm to their ideals and beliefs, adhere to the unity of knowledge and action, practice the Party's purpose with actions, never forget their original intentions, forge ahead, and adopt a proactive attitude to cope with challenges, making more contributions to the company's development on their own positions.
