On May 9, an unexpected outbreak brought new challenges to the prevention and control of the epidemic in Luanping County, and broke the peace of the Luanping Jianlong Mine located in Xiaoying Town. Our leaders have attached great importance to the outbreak, who promptly communicated with Xiaoying Town Government and made every effort to strengthen measures, ensure supply and make contributions. We will build the defense line against the epidemic with one heart, show our corporate responsibility and the "hard core" of the special period with warmth and strength, and work side by side with the town government to protect our home!
Commitment to Working Together to Fight the Epidemic

Starting from 1:30 a.m. on May 10, seven consecutive rounds of nucleic acid testing and sampling were carried out in the Company's compound, with a total of more than 600 employees plus external cooperators, spending about two hours per day to complete the testing at once.

Every day early in the morning, we could hear Wang Baoliang, the Deputy Director of HR & Admin, shouting with a trumpet hoarsely and tirelessly; Wang Xinying and Yao Kexin, the two "cuties" of the Safety and Environmental Department, took off their uniforms and put on "a white gown" to assist in typing information; they two always came to the "battlefield" early in the morning, dragging their weary bodies to take inventory of the materials despite the difficult conditions. Our leaders personally organized in the field and led colleagues from Safety and Environmental Department and Personnel and Administrative Department to maintain order and facilitate the test. We could feel that the whole company and the epidemic prevention staff have formed a united force to fight against COVID-19. These scenes made the cold air warm.
Materials Donation Makes Living Warm and Secured
From May 10, the Party branch of the Company gave full play to its role as a fighting base, sending mineral water, towels, soaps, laundry powder, toilet paper and other daily necessities to the medical team stationed in Majiangoumen Village in Xiaoying Town, as well as sending meals to 26 medical staff members twice a day and providing power maintenance services for the installation of nucleic acid testing equipment. Because of the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, our leaders instructed the staff members to do their best to secure basic living supplies for medical staff to the extent that they could procure.

Employees from the surrounding Majiangoumen Village and Habaqin Village could not go home due to the temporary closure and control management of the epidemic. For this reason, nearly 100 employees had to take meals in the canteen, making it difficult to purchase supplies. After understanding the situation, the leaders of Xiaoying Town transferred a truckload of edible supplies worth more than RMB 14,000 on the evening of the 10th, which relieved our urgent need in the state of epidemic prevention and control.
The Company actively practiced its social responsibility and shows love for the medical staff; the government leaders cared about the employees in the lockdown and control area, and provided the living supplies such as rice, noodles, oil and vegetables for us. The two warm moments were just like the North Star in the dark night, guiding a lost ship sail to the safe shore; they were just like the shoulders for a helpless child, which were profound and reliable, lighting up the heart of the child and leading him home; they were just like the burning bonfire, warm and spirited, committed to "fighting epidemic" together. They rose slowly and turned into a huge heart to warm a city.

To win the battle of epidemic prevention and control, the Labor Union of the Company issued an initiative: as a mining enterprise, we grow and develop in Xiaoying. At the critical moment of epidemic prevention and control, it is our duty and obligation to do what we can for the prevention and control of the epidemic. All departments responded positively and supported the epidemic prevention and control. Party members and cadres were in the forefront, forming an 18-member anti-epidemic service team, who worked 24-hour shifts at the prevention and control points to fight on the front line of the epidemic, showing the role of private enterprises with practical actions, and coalescing a strong synergy to fight the epidemic with one heart.
In face of the epidemic, our employees are the "workers" and "fighters" who struggle at work and are also the "heroes in harm’s way" and "guardians" in the battle against the "epidemic". They bravely take off their uniforms and wear the "white gown" and quickly take up their "responsibility", either as "combatants" for epidemic prevention and control, or as "propagandists" for prevention and control measures, "troubleshooters" for safety hazards, and "attendants" for all participants. "Safety Valve" Built by Enterprise and Local Government for the Village
It is crucial to effectively control people and vehicles provided the complicated and changeable epidemic situations. After understanding the actual situation, the Company made prevention guardrails with scrap steel and sent them to Majiangoumen Village, doing practical things for local villagers, helping the epidemic prevention and writing a new chapter of cooperation and win-win anti-epidemic defense war.
Visiting to the Front Line Workers, Police and Enterprises Hold Hands in Epidemic Prevention

On the morning of the 15th, General Manager Cai Guiliang and Party Branch Secretary Mi Shubo drove to Xiaoying Town Police Station to deliver rice, noodles, oil, instant noodles, mineral water and other supplies to the public security police officers who were on the front line of prevention and control. On behalf of all the employees of the Company, Mr. Cai expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the police officers who were on the front line of epidemic prevention and control day and night, and paid high tribute to the comrades of the public security police who sacrificed their families and cared for everyone, faced up to the serious situation and fought against the epidemic to protect the lives of the people!
